Nodusfall System Requirements: UE5 Spec Predictions
✦ Last updated August 29, 2026
Last updated: August 29, 2026 — official specs TBA; these are educated predictions, not leaks.
Official system requirements have not been announced. Nodusfall runs on Unreal Engine 5 with a realistic art style — the most demanding engine HoYoverse has shipped on, and it raises the PC floor well above Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail.
Predicted specs
| Component | Predicted minimum (1080p/60) | Predicted recommended (1440p/60) |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Ryzen 5 3600 / i5-10400 | Ryzen 7 5800X / i7-12700 |
| GPU | RTX 3060 / RX 6600 XT | RTX 4070 / RX 7800 XT |
| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| Storage | SSD required, ~80 GB | NVMe SSD, ~100 GB+ |
Benchmarks used for this estimate: other 2025-2026 UE5 co-op titles in the same visual tier (Monster Hunter Wilds on RE Engine is the closest gameplay comparison but a lighter engine).
Why the bar is high
- Realistic UE5 rendering (Lumen-style lighting implied by the "classical oil-painting" art direction) is GPU-hungry.
- 4-player hunts with big bosses stress CPU draw calls and GPU effects.
- Closed-beta players flagged optimization as the demo's weak point — expect the release build to be better, but budget headroom.
What to prepare
- An SSD is effectively mandatory for load times between contract hunts.
- Controller support is confirmed in spirit (the demo ran on Xbox pads) — budget for a controller if you don't have one.
- Upgrading around the next platform announcement is the smart move; specs will likely arrive with the first public test.
This page flips to confirmed specs the moment HoYoverse publishes them.
